Three Sisters
Three Sisters Mountains in Canmore, Alberta

One of the most common remarks heard from first time visitors to the Canadian Rockies is, "I had no idea all this was here and how easy it is to get here!" Indeed, it's probably the easiest big mountain range to get to next to the European Alps.

Most of my clients fly into the Calgary International Airport, a modern airport that serves worldwide connections many times a day. Car rentals can be picked up at the airport and from there it's an easy 1.5 hour drive west to Canmore, where I'm based.

Canmore is a booming community of 10 000 people located in the heart of the mountains, on the boundary of Banff National Park. All amenities are available here and you can arrange accommodation from inexpensive hostels, to quality hotels with everything you need. Nordic skiing, mountain biking and fly fishing are also very popular in Canmore, and you'll notice a young population here that seems intent on never sitting still. In fact our small town sent 10 athletes to the 2002 Winter Olympics!

To help you sort out the logistic of your trip here, I have included a map and some links to hotels and car rental which may be of use to you. If you need any more help in getting organized, the please contact me and I'll sort it out for you.
